Re: Show your amp!

Here's a couple of pics of my current rig.... a 150w Line 6 FlextoneIIIxl 2x12" combo, and Ampeg V-4 4x12" Cabinet. I used a Sharpie marker to color the grill on the Flextone. The V-4 cab that's underneath it is currently finished with an ebony stain, and will be getting a dose of emerald-green stain, and clear-coat shortly.

Yes, I know that the 'lil green skull looks a bit silly... that's my co-writer for y'a. heh I've since put the Line6 brushed-aluminum nameplate back on it... looks much better. I still may get something custom-cut for it... perhaps a diamond-plate walrus-skull?

It seems alot of peeps around here are tube-amp-purists, and I used to be one m'self, but I have to admit, Line6 did well with this one. Of course it sounds a tad on the digital side, but nothing that a few tweaks didn't cure.(an OD pedal, and a parametric eq) I'm quite pleased with it... hasn't let me down, yet.

Re: Show your amp!

Here's my latest acquisition - Marshall 205C it rocks

and here's my "Porange" stack - 1980 Peavey Deuce VT 120w with 6L6 GT's and twin G12-80 Celestions, with the TT Combo on top. I use the stereo outputs on the Boss chorus ensemble for a full on sound and the full spatial stereo chorus when they're moved apart sounds fantastic. Cept now I have the 205 these 2 have been consigned to the spare room... for now anyways. I'll likely get around to trying the 205C and Deuce via stereo chorus one day should sound fantastic with 4 Celestions running but for now I'm just having fun tweaking the 205 by itself.

A very low serial number Soldano Hot Rod 50 and a marshall 2-12. I would like to get this set up as a stack someday.
