Mesa 3ch DR series loop mod how to
I have created a little "how to" for the Mesa 3CH DR and I am sure this work work on TR as well.
Basically what you do is to remove the 3 wires from the PC board that go to the mix pot. You put a jumper wire inbetween the middle and right pads. Then you remove the 3 3 pronged thingies. You leave empty pads from the lower one in the picture alone. Then you put a jumper wire from the left pad to the right pad of the upper 2, leaving the middle pad alone. This will make your 3ch Rectifier a series loop now. The FX switch does not work as expected, however the SOLO switch DOES work. The Mesa wiring diagram disables the solo switch, this one leave it intact. Hopefully these pics work well for you. I will include both the links and the pics in this thread. Sorry about the sloppy jumpers, it's kinda hard to tell, but they go inbetween the left and right pads. The picture is not easy to follow. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...a67/Slide1.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...a67/Slide2.jpg ![]()
