Wow, relax, it's just an amp. I liked it, felt it was well built, others hate it and think it's junk. I posted reviews others felt led to believe a few posters. People got snappy, I had some gasoline and felt it need poured on this whole dumb Bugera thread. I'm sure we are all fun guys. Can I send you some roses?

I have provided factual real reviews, you have given opinions from bedroom wankers who never played the amp.

As stated before, a printed review(s) is far from a bullet proof representation that the line as a whole is a solid viable purchase. Why do you think communities like this exist in the first place?

Fact, Behringer is a company long known for feature packed super low priced gear that often doesnt hold up to pro or even semi pro usgae. You can only cut so many corners to make a reliable great sounding product that will stand the tests of time. At best I would consider most if not all of their products as stepping stone pieces. Hell, when the whole figgin thing costs as much as a quality OT and a full retube....and they are still making money......

Fact, BCR is a very well known and repected member, he knows this stuff literally from the inside out, not only does he repair it, he also uses it for its intended purposes and most likely has more than 10x the first hand knowledge and experience than everyone else posting in this now pointless thread combined.

Fact, you are self professed hobbiest musician, your personal standards and Gregs standards are radically different. For fucks sake, your using touring class equpment for personal practice...... Have you ever even used said highly prasised amp in a band setting at high power ever?

Fact, Greg simply stated his opinion of the amp in a simple short and sweet fashion

Fact, YOU and you alone are the one who turned this into a pissing contest, intended or not though the mighty confines of the intraweb you are trying to convey yourself as an expert, and all the while belittleing the only real known and highly respected expert in the room.

Fact, the only real information I have gleamed from this absurdly long thread is that your an egotistical dick, and an unpleasant reminder of the shortcomings of one of my favorite online communities.

Fact, You could have easily stated your personal opions and experience of the bugera line without being a complete arrogant asshole, you didnt....so dont be surprised that folks participating in the thread dont hold you in high regard.

Wow, I think you are taking this way to seriously. I'm just having some fun with you all. It's a cheap $400 amp, who cares!!!!!. When I saw how wacked out some of you got over it I was just egging you on. You took the bait and went a little nuts.

So, to be honest, I kept mine for a year. The clean channel was great but I thought the crunch channel was thin without an eq in the loop. Did nothing for me so I let her go free. Nothing thrilling, but not horrible either. And yes, I just play at home now....but I didn't always.

Now that you know the truth, you can let the Burgera live in peace.

If being a jackass to one of the folks that makes this place as great as it is your idea of fun, I really wish you would go have your fun somewhere else....this thread stopped being about the amp when you spit in BCR's face, and I for one think you owe him an apology.

I was only being that way because no one gave any substantial reasons except for it's junk because a formite said so. Nothing objective except harsh comments. I at least provided about 9 reviews which were immediately swept under the rug and as far as BCR and a few others, they were more than rude first and right out of the gate. People swearing and taking the Lord's name in vein over an amp? Read the posts man. I was at least objective, no one else was.

What if I was some teenage kid all excited about my first amp asking about the Bugera I just bought? "It's Junk!" Yeah, some real nice responses. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You guys were harsh and deserved it.

Touchy eh? No love for Mesa or JMP? Might want to check your MG series at the door.

Hey can we make this thread a sticky? I've revealed who the angry people are.

Yes, if a forumite with years of experience says that an amp has junk components and reliability issues, we're willing to take his opinion over that of a hobbyist who played the amp for a year in his living room (and I don't mean that as a slight; most of us are hobbyists).

I explained why the magazine reviews would not be probative regarding reliability, something which you ignored in your haste to insult almost everyone who responded to you in this thread. Note that you were the one who began making ad hominen attacks against posters, rather than explaining your thoughts on the amp constructively. Yeah, Greg was blunt in his opinion of the amp, but it's not as if he was insulting anyone who had bought one. If a teenage kid buys one of these amps only to be told later that it's made from subpar components, whose fault is that? The kid who may not have done enough research on the amp before buying it, or the guy who's straight with him regarding the problems with the amp?

Re: Bugera

Wow I think that someone is reacting as if someone calling an amp "crap" as a personal insult. Here's a question, are you your amp tennisplayer?

Its an inanimate object a material possesion when you die it aint gonna matter any more.

And just so you know the term "Christ" is not the lords name its a title.

I've been to a music shop and had a look at a bugera 6260 and to be honest I'll stick with my Soldano HR 50. And if I was looking at getting annother amp it would more than likely be an Orange or a Laney rather than a "Bugger-a" or a "Messydookie Dual Rectumfire"

Re: Bugera

And the fucktard (I;m done being civil on this matter) still like to pretend all this was about an amp.....that just makes what I couldnt imagine to be any more pathetic, considerably so....

Personally I would have broken out the ban hammer a long time ago...
