Haze...

Anyone have news on the Marshall Haze?

Looks pretty sweet but I haven't heard much about them.

Re: Haze...

Ahh...thanks for that Dennis. I was just hoping that someone might actually have some first hand knowledge of them. Much appreciated on the link. Sheesh.

Re: Haze...

They're pretty new. Chances of any deep experience is slim.
You're welcome.

Re: Haze...

Was that so difficult. Could have said that the first time instead of being such a tool.

I'm quite aware of them being new...but this is the place I & many others come to when information is sought after. If I wanted a smart ass comment I could have gone over to the Ultimate Guitar forum.

Maybe in the future if you have nothing good to say...you can just not say anythng at all...Hmmm, what a concept huh.

Anyhoo...thanks!

Re: Haze...

If the Haze wasn't made in China, I might buy one myself!

Re: Haze...

Well...I'm building my gear fund & I'm trying to decide exactly what I want. New guitar, Amp...just not sure. Currently, I'm thinking amp...but it changes daily.

Anyhoo...I'm just gonna keep looking & watching the fund grow.

If it's made in India, I might buy one. India isn't China, and that makes a BIG difference to me, and the US economy.

That was April 15th, then April 29th, then June 3rd, then June 17th. See a pattern? GC/MF just keeps pushing back the release date.

In the original press release (in March), Marshall said they would be released in July. I'd be surprised if you see them before that.

As a matter of interest, why? I don't mean that as a rhetorical question. Why is buying Indian better for you than Chinese?

(Insert curry / szechuan joke here)

Re: Haze...

Just watched the videos on the Marshall site for the 40W & the 15W. Both were very impressive...nice sounding. I love the 15W stack version but I have to ask...as basically a bedroom rocker, is 15W loud enough? Will I at some point wish I had more power if I went 15W?

I'd hate to make a purchase only to wish I had more volume.

Anyhoo...looking forward to hearing more about these as info becomes available.

I played a 15W amp for 8 years as a bedroom rocker, now that I have more juice.. I am not sure if I would ever go back to that size... my choice would be the 40W

Would be nice but the gear fund is still building & I'm not sure what the hell I want. So...just gonna keep looking, putting things on the "possible buy" list.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. I usually play at reasonable volume levels but it sure is nice to have the extra room when you feel like making some air move.

Just so many damn amp & guiter choices...makes a guy with a gear fund crazy
