Just a heads up, Marshall Haze now is now available in the UK stores. Just saw a 40w Haze Combo at PMT

Anyone tried it yet?

Re: Marshall Haze

I heard the sound clips on youtube, and they sound pretty nice.

I'd love to test one soon.

Re: Marshall Haze

I'd rather have the head and cabinet option. Combos are OK, but being able to separate the speakers like that and spread the sound around!!

Re: Marshall Haze

The heads only 15 watt....the combos 40..... call me crazy but to me I think it should be the other way around.

I don't know why the combo is 40 watt....seems to me the hot ticket would have been to just have a 15 watt configuration for both the head and the combo...

The only thing that is seriously holding me back is some personal issues with a Marshall...funding...(of course)...and how this would stack up vs. Orange's Tiny Terror.

Re: Marshall Haze

I'm in the market for a low wattage amp. I'm looking forward to trying one of these Marshalls. The Orange Tiny Terror is OK but the one I tried was a little dark. I'll be trying out an Egnator Rebel tonight.

Any members here in Europe tried one of these Marshalls yet?

have you tried the TT bro? simply the best money ive spent on anything guitar related. The marshall will be different, that 'Marshall' overdrive thing, nice neck pup tones....

gotta say the celan tone on the orange is wonderful, just needs a boost in front of it for any volume!

Re: Marshall Haze

Greg- what are you going to price them at if you can say or what is the MAP listed as?

I am interested in seeing what they are going to go for from someone other than the big box evil empire stores.

This actually doesn't surprise me, but I'll bet any money it's not Marshall doing it. When Marshall first made the announcement about the Haze line they said in the press release that they would be available July 2009. So naturally I was really surprised when only a couple weeks later, MF had them on pre-order for an April delivery.

I think some companies do this to get you to buy it from *them* even though they know it won't be out for months. They probably knew the REAL release date but wanted to lock some gear sluts into it (and them) early. It's a shitty way to do business if you ask me.

maybe they are going to tweak them? the first batch have had criticisms of a soft muddy overdrive sound.....
