NAD - Roland Mini Cube

Needed to pick up a portable amp for a road trip I'll be going on this summer. After a lot of research and playing around with amps that I could find in local shops I decided on the Roland Mini Cube.

I love how nice it sounds for such a small, inexpensive amp. I can definitely see why so many people said good things about it. It might even end up replacing my MII as my go-to practice amp.

In all it's micro glory:

I've had one for 7 years and don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. I use just only two channels, but both give me a fairly good approximation of clean and varying degrees of distortion......namely, the Brit Combo and Classic Stack.
I hope you enjoy your new find and enjoy some great tones!

Re: NAD - Roland Mini Cube

Thanks.

The only drawback I can see is the fact that I need to buy a headphone adapter, but that will cost me all of five bucks.

Re: NAD - Roland Mini Cube

I have a Micro Cube and a Cube 30. Love them both, but find I never play the Cube 30 because it's not as "handy" as the Micro. Great amps, though.

Re: NAD - Roland Mini Cube

My very qualified friend regularly blows minds playing thru one, he's able to make it work well beyond what most players are capable of. But then, that's what good players do. The Street Cube version is even better for lap steel guitar tho, or so he sez.
