Park 75 Value

Anyone own a Park head?

Wondering what a 69 or 70 Park 75 head is worth. I came across one, but I don't yet know if it is all orig., which will make a huge difference. Sorry, no photos at this point.

I'm only looking for a ballpark figure or range. Assume orig. iron with only a few caps changed. Tolex is in good shape.

Any opinions? Thanks.

Correct - they were Marshall's budget line. Similar to Squier and Fender. Don't think they are worth too much I'm afraid!

The 70's Park were not budget at all but due to a distribution deal Marshalls could not be sold in a certain part of the UK .Thus the brand Park.

Re: Park 75 Value

Park's are Marshall's, but they seem to be more rare (not necessarily more valuable, just fewer in number) than Marshall's. If they were made with the same parts and used the same basic design, any difference in value is strictly perceptual. The tone and quality would be the same (like Dodge vs. Chrysler). Hence, the question of what one is worth.

Can the value of a Marshall be directly associated with a Park, or do Park's have their own value base? If they have their own value base, what is a fair price for a '69/'70 era Park 75?

Re: Park 75 Value

'69-'70 Park 75 is the same amp internally as a '69-'70 Marshall 100w Superlead...same hand-wired circuit, same components, same transformers, same chassis, same head cabinet, even the same tubes originally. What does that tell ya?
