do these have the ridiculous volume jump of the fender devilles?
i.e.:from 0 to ear splitting just below 1 on the master

No.

And they're a much, much better sounding amp than the Fender.

They're great amps. I gave mine to a friend in need and I miss it.

The 4x10 speaker arrangement has a nice, punchy sound.

Congrats!

Agreed. Sweet score, man. I wish I never sold mine; I'm currently trolling c-list for another one. Great amps.

When I moved, I dumped a bunch of stuff at my parents' house - my brother's room in particular.

They happen to live 10 doors down from me - I'll just pick it up tomorrow!

That's one of the nice things about these amps for those of us that are primarily hobbyists. You can get a good bedroom/apartment tone out of it, crank it a bit on weekends, and still hang with a full band if the opportunity presents itself.

I just got mine back after an 8 year separation (it lived with my folks after I moved). I've gone through a few amps since then, and it still sounds great.

$425.00 is a good price. I have a Classic 50 2x12 and really like it. It's a keeper.

I grabbed mine for $325 last year. Have only cranked it a few times, but it does sound great. Have a graduation party to play in a little more than a month and you can bet the 4x10 is coming with me. Probably my 335 as well.

Borla makes the best mufflers out there! I had to remove mines as they were too damn loud.

Nice amp!
