Peavey Classic 20

Just saw this on the flea bay. A nasty little bunny-nibbled Peavey Classic 20:

Peavey Classic 20 Tube Amplifier - eBay (item 160281768400 end time Sep-15-08 12:22:01 PDT)

They don't come on the market that often. If you're in the market for a nasty little tube amp, these come with a reputation. They don't make 'em anymore.

Re: Peavey Classic 20

This is a little off-topic; but I saw citrixmeta description of the Peavey classic 20 and it made me wonder about something. If you removed 1 EL84, and/or 1 12AX7, would you have a 10 watt amplifier?

Re: Peavey Classic 20

The Classic 20 is one of my favorite amps. These things shine when a 2x12 or 4x12 extension cab is plugged into the Ext Spkr jack. They morph into an entirely different animule.

Note: just make sure the extension cab is 16 ohms only
