Anyone need a Champ in NE Ohio ?
Figured I'd put this here as well. These old things come up quite a bit in conversation in "The Box" and for this kind of coin, it would be hard to beat this amp. You'd be well justified in doing the simple Tweed conversion as well.
A 65 BF Champ, one owner - listed today for $350 on CL. I bet it could be had for $300 or less. Near Akron / Canton, OH. I would myself but, well, I already have one of these. Fender Champ Amp 65

Re: Anyone need a Champ in NE Ohio ?
Hopefully, somebody round here can grab it up. There was a SF Champ listed as well for $310 (maybe a tad steep but could probably go for $250).
I really had a mind to grab the SF and do some stuff to it for fun - but that's one more project I don't need right now.

That's about right for a SF. There is a late 60's SF at the store down the street for $300......same as the BF circuit.

Dang, that's totally where I live. I'll have to give it a look and shoot the guy an email.
Not to mention that this is exactly what I've been looking for. |

Of course someone grabbed it last night before I got a chance. Guy said it was "totally original and played very little"
