I got basically this adapter going into my Mic jack into my computer.
![]() I got my guitar cable going into this end>>> Where do I put the other end on the guitar cable i put into the adapter? I have in the back of my amp, headphones, emulated line output right, emulated line output left, FX return Right (mono), FX return left, FX Send. I would plug my guitar in the input like I regularly would right? Can I put it anywhere to record on the computer? They should label the jack "Plug this into your computer to record". It'd be much easier I have this amp Buy Marshall AVT275 Combo Amp online at Musician's Friend Oh my god. Please help me.

Well i tried, but basically i was saying have the plug thing you have into the computer and have that to the guitar amp's headphone jack, and at that headphone jack have a Y connector or a double connecter, and have the another wire running from the headphone jack to another speaker so you can hear what you are playing and record at the same time.

Re: Please Help my Sorry Ass.
I would send you one if i had an extra that I didnt need. I do alot of band recording for people around the area. I mostly just record using a Diaphram microphone. Basically recording it live, and run everything through a mixer and into there seperate speakers.

Re: Please Help my Sorry Ass.
I would strongly recommend using a better quality mic and record it that way.

Oh and it's only left because an instrument cable is mono. You need a Stereo TRS cable to go from headphones out to microphone in. Some computers also only have a mono input on the mic. If that is the case, you can try the Line Input on your sound card as well.
