Initials in my Marshall

Opened up my old Marshall mini stack today to clean the scratchy pots, and noticed this.

Is that Jim Marshall's initials I'm seeing?

BTW sprayed the pots with electronics cleaner and they're good as new again! Learned that tip here on MLP.

Yea, he does that now and then, likes to come in and
help build amps and signs them, and cabs to.

Re: Initials in my Marshall

Wow! I've owned this amp for years. Never would have thought the man himself had a hand in building it.

Re: Initials in my Marshall

yea everyone should take the time to look inside
thier amps and cabs from Marshall, you may be one
of the lucky ones. Back in the late 70's i had one cab
with his signature on the inside, felt like good mojo
knowing it was there.

Re: Initials in my Marshall

I had it open again today because the Treble pot was still a bit scratchy and noticed this on the circuit board.

I didn't notice it the previous time.
