Re: Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!!
Need some help from you guys/gals. If you can believe this, I haven't played through my latest acquisition, my 1974X. I know, I know...
Even though we're having company today, I'm going to try nonetheless. Any suggestion on which Guitar I should use first? Thanks, Midnight Blues 1972 LP Custom (1954 Black Beauty "Fretless Wonder" LE) 1976 LP Deluxe 2011 Peter Frampton Les Paul (PF 654) 2008 Alex Lifeson Inspired By ES-355 (AL 028) 2001 Fender American Stratocaster Washburn D10S Acoustic Dean Markley Strings (Reg. 10-46 gauge) Marshall 1974X "Blues Breaker" Marshall MG50DFX Marshall MG15 Marshall MS-2 Vox V848 "Clyde McCoy" Wah Wah Fulltone "Soul Bender" Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe Fulltone OCD Fulltone PlimSoul Morley Volume Pedal Boss DD7 Digital Delay Boss TU-2 Tuner Marshall CAT Tuner |

Re: Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!!
Greenback, well mannered speaker. Open back, flood of sound.
42 lbs. just right. That's a good buy in the amp department. Congrats.

Re: Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!!
Wow!!! Does that have modeling??
I remember. Looking at the 1974x a while back (online-- I've never even seen one in person) and swore it was the amp for me. It seemed like Marshall had it right. And they STOPPED MAKING THEM??!! Do I have that wrong?? That's what I thought I read on their sight. Anyway, I didn't have the coin for it and won't for a while. But if I feel the need for another Marshall, that's gonna be the one. I bet you're lovin' that thing. I'm so jealous that there really aren't even words for it. I would totally trade a Dumble for one of these!! (Heh heh heh) Congrats, man. Any new tonal voyages yet??

Re: Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!!
That is a killer amp, best of what Marshall has to offer. My favorite Marshall of all times, a gem for sure.
Congratulations!

Re: Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!! Nad!!!!!
Oh yeah, if you want to really get a kick out of your new Marshall. Try a treble booster, like the Beano boost, or Java Boost. It takes your already cranking amp, and licks it up a notch. These pedals are similar to the Rangemaster that Clapton used to use on his Marshalls.
