Randall Mts
Randall MTS Series Heads
Anyone have any opinions of these MTS heads and modules. I know BCR Greg said they are great. I need it for Heavy sounds I know it gets the rectifier, marshall and bogner sounds nailed. I'm curious if anyone has one and can give a review.

Re: Randall Mts
I own an RM100 and a Genz Benz G-Flex 2x12 and about 10 of the modules. The amp is heavy duty, LOUD and a great design. With the self bias you can change out tubes at your disposal and run'em hot or cold to really tweak your tone and not have to be bothered find an amp tech you trust and pay loads of money doing tube swaps. Im currently running 2 KT88s and 2 E34Ls.
Also there are a bunch of mods that you can do for the modules as well as the amp its self. Egnater made the amp for Randall I beleive and I think they sell one like it but with theirs you have 2 channels per module giving you six different tones oppossed to 3 from Randall. You can buy the Egnater single channel modules and they will work fine but the dual channel module will only let you use the first channel. Unless you send your RM100 to Egnater and let him mod it for you allowing you to use his dual channels. There are a ton more features but I've probably already annoyed you with my ramblings..so Ill leave you with these.. Some Stock Clips: Randall MTS Clips Some Modded Module Clips: http://members.cox.net/vht50/MTSmods108.htm A good forum for your reading enjoyment. I think there is an RM100 in the classifieds: MTS Forum :: Index Enjoy, Shane |

Re: Randall Mts
I have the RM50 combo. I LOVE this thing. I had 6 great amps when I bought it. I am almost done selling them now... I like that you can also use the Egnater modules in it too. I have the following modules:
SL+ (with JCM 800 tonestack) Plexi Mr. Scary SuperV Blackface XTC Top Boost (coming) and an Egnater single channel BMan module I do not regret buying this amp in the LEAST!!!

Re: Randall Mts
Thanks for the info guys. It seems like the General consensus is that this is a good product.
Snatchss thanks for the clips man that was awesome. I like the versatility of this amp. Great for studio! Great job with the samples man that Modern Modules sounds amazing!! I really like a lot of the others too. How's the reliability?
