what does a "rounder" sound mean

is that a less clipped signal or what

First off, you watched that boss demo, didn't you?

Actually, it's referring to an overdriven sound, mainly meaning warmer, less fizzy and compressed. A sound that usually sounds great for leads.

What does "warmer" mean....and what does "fizzy" mean??? Just messin' ... Seriously, though, perhaps there should be a sticky generally summing up what some of these more colorful descriptive terms for tone might mean. Kinda hard to do, though, as tone is in the ear of the listener, and we don't all hear things the same way..... but it might help for the less tone term literate members (myself included .... I restrict myself to "good tone" and "shit tone," both very subjective and up to interpretation.)
