Mesa 5:50 Express

any one familiar with these amps. I played one
the other nite and the cleans were amazing. it was a cool mix of a Super/Twin and Plexi all rolled into one.

I wasnet crazy about the OD but i didnt plan on using it for this amp. I have the JCM 900 and OCD for that dept. Its the cleans and blues channel i want

i seriously thinking about buying one. Not that I need another amp, I have 4 but I can always use the change of pace.

I also liked the F-50 but this amp was mure chunky and airey

any yays or nays.

Thanks

Re: Mesa 5:50 Express

They offer a lot in that mall package.
Its on my sort list as well, even though I own a Mesa Lonestar Special with 4 x 10's.

I do like the Overdrive on the Express line.

I've played 'em and liked them as well. Mesa does have that whole clean/Fender plus sound down. My Lonestar is amazing on that channel. I have had challenges dialing in exactly what I want on the other channel, but then that's kind of a Mesa thing too. It takes some work to get them cruising. I was actually thinking of one of these amps for my son, but he wants a tiny terror. Go figure, eh
