Thank you ColdSteal2!!!

Let me start by saying this guy is a class act!

I recently posted a few Pict’s of a Marshall JTM45 clone I purchased not long ago. It did not have a logo on the front of the head which made it look rather plain. Now, mind you, I don’t really know Coldsteal2. I have read his posts / reply's, but have never had any direct contact with him.

He sends me a reply asking if I would like to have, not purchase, HAVE a new Marshall logo for my head. I told him yes, thank you. All he did was ask me for my address so he could send it out, which he did very promptly and even e mailed me with a tracking number. He even paid the shipping!

I know there's probably a few of you saying to yourself "It's only a logo". Well it's not.....Not to me. It was about a musician helping out another musician that he has never met that lives 3000 miles away just out of pure kindness.

Coldsteal2, again, thank you very much! The logo looks great on the jcm45 clone. I will post some more Pict’s of it soon. It's people like coldsteal that make this forum the BEST forum out there....PERIOD!!!

Re: Thank you ColdSteal2!!!

I'd like to thank Coldsteal2 also!

He's has a real wealth of information, and he's always very helpful.

And he doesn't have that sinister edge that some members do...

Example: If someone made a post like, "I just bought a $25,000 Les Paul, should I get a tube amp or solid state?" (I could see the reply posts now!), Cold will not berate the poor guy, but he'll gladly explain the difference and offer good advice. Very friendly!

Actually, what is the best solid state amp for a $25,000 LP?

Re: Thank you ColdSteal2!!!

I said it in another thread but out of all the guitar forums that I've been test driving, this one is my favorite. It lacks the douchbaggery that some have and that's what it's all about. People helping people, that my friends is life. I love it. Makes me want to send something to someone.

I could tell ColdSteal was a class-act and a stand-up guy from reading his posts.

Hats off to you, sir. Humanity is alive and well.

Douchebaggery need not apply.

While we're at it, B-Squared and LoKi are also very helpful!

I swear, this site offers very good information! Better than going to Guitar Center!
