Question About Mesa/Boogie Triple Recs

How heavy is the head exactly?
I know the cab is 104lbs.

ATM i have a b-52 AT-100 all tube half stack, and was hoping that if i upgrade to the triple rec, would it even fit in the same space the b-52 would in my car?

Re: Question About Mesa/Boogie Triple Recs

Unless you have a bunch of disposable income, I would just stay with the AT-100.

The tones are really comparable, their both triple rectofiers, same power, etc. But, hey if you have the money to blow, why not? The space should be similar, weight I cannot speak on though.

It's been awhile, but I know people that have them and they are pretty much like all Mesas---heavy. I just keep telling myself as I lug my Lonestar up and down the stairs that the tone is all worth it!

Where are you in Wisconsin?

The cabinet will be about 3 inches taller than what you are used to.
