Not necessarily "should". But it's a pretty solid pattern I've noticed.

Got it Cheap enough that I think I might have paid the least for my Phaez of anyone here.

It's running 2 tung-sol 12AX7s and 2 JJ EL-84s. Has the Throttle and Bite switches on it.

The sound was glorious. ran it through a Category5 4x12 loaded with Austin Speaker Works speakers.

I'm the drummer for my band, but a failed guitarist at heart and avid gear whore. From my limited talents.....I can see why these are so coveted by those in the club.

Yeah, you're right. I wouldn't mind a fender tweed clone of some kind... This never ends!

See the problem is that you don't (yet) have plans to search for a second amp. That is the secret to avoid having a long month. Spend that time deciding on what else to buy for amp#2. You won't be having too much trouble waiting for amp#2 because you will have amp#1 to play.

Will have pics up soon. He said he remembered me looking at it last year(not hard to remember, I have a dyed red mohawk). Didn't even make it all the way home. Had to stop by the band rehearsal space first to run it through it's paces.

Outstanding!! Made me smile on that one.

re: Phaez Amps [merged]

Y'all're makin' me remember the one that got away. There was this 14Wer up on CL in SF for months. Coulda been had for $300. I couldn't do it. That was about all I had, and I did just buy my 5W. I watched it, and watched it, and questioned myself, and said "damn it, fool, just go buy it!", and went so far as to check it out, but (possibly partially as a result of the guy being a douche-face) I couldn't. Like all things, it eventually disappeared. It was a sad day when I searched the ol CL for "Phaez" and didn't get any hits... I did eventually hear from the guy who did get it, just randomly, on TGP, which was fairly satisfying. He loves it, though he says that yeah, the guy was kinda a douche.

For the record, I only say all this because I'm reasonably confidant that this guy has never, and will never, visit MLP (I'm not sure he really knows how to operate a browser...). Reasonably, at least...

Agree.

Or a sign that we talk too much?

No problem with the merge as long as it is done to other threads content with more than one is opened....I think it was Trools didn't like the Phaez cool aid drinkers...Maybe the squak box is overloaded and they need more space
