I think we can arrange a visit in the next few weeks.

I'll be sure and bring my WB-equipped LPs so you can try them out. You have some great guitars on your site...would love to see them in person.

Great People at Route 66. I bought a gloss R9 from you guys last year and it is magnificent. You guys really went out of your way to accomodate me. Just thought I'd let people know what a great experience I had buying a terrific guitar from you! Dan B.

Re: Route 66 Classic Guitars *Sponsor*

Hey, guys -

Well, I have owned my Johnny A. signature guitar for about a month now and I wanted to take a few minutes to pass along an update. I have owned some nice guitars in my life and I have a Les Paul and a Strat right now that I would not ever consider letting go of. However, with the Johnny A. I think I have finally come to a full realization of the real difference between a "cheap" guitar and a finely crafted instrument.

I started playing guitar when I was in the 2nd grade and until just recently I always played mid-range instruments. They were good guitars for the most part but nothing special.

Now I am lucky enough to own three outstanding guitars, the pinnacle of which is the Johnny A. Signature. It is amazing to experience how a fine guitar will react to subtle changes in playing style. Very slight alterations to attack can bring about major differences in tone from this guitar. It is just an unbelievable pleasure to play and I am at last able to understand how some of my guitar heroes were able to produce their unique sound.

Thanks to you guys for making such an instrument available for a great price and more importantly for taking away the apprehension that goes with buying a premium instrument on-line. I really appreciate it each time I pick this guitar up. I look forward to meeting you in person next spring in Dallas.

To anyone who is struggling with the prospect of buying a premium instrument sight-unseen, drop a line to Route 66 Classic Guitars. They sure will make it easy for you. Top notch folks!

Best Regards,
Cal in Texas

Re: Route 66 Classic Guitars *Sponsor*

From time to time, I like to check out Route 66 Classic Guitars- selling new, used & vintage guitars for their Les Pauls with nice figured tops. For example…

Below are some R8 Les Pauls with figured tops!

2010 Gibson Custom 1958 Reissue Les Paul Figured Gloss

Beautiful & RARE Lemonburst - 8 lbs 11 oz, light on your back and super resonate! - 100% MINT UNPLAYED with case and candy!

2010 Gibson Historic Chambered Les Paul 1958 Reissue Figured

Beautiful Amber Orange Burst perfect and polished with just the right amount of FLAME and FLECKING
7 lbs 6.5 oz! - light on your back and super resonate! 100% MINT UNPLAYED with case and candy!

Below are some R9 Les Pauls that have some really cool tops!

2010 Gibson Les Paul Historic 1959 Reissue Quilt - Multicolor Gloss

KILLER TONE, KILLER QUILT, LIGHTWEIGHT and FAST WEIGHING 8 lbs 5 oz
100% MINT UNPLAYED - Complete with the OHSC, COA and magic!

2010 Gibson Les Paul Historic 1959 Reissue VOS

100% MINT UNPLAYED - SUPER LIGHT (8 lbs 5 oz) SUPER RESONATE - FAT CURLY TIGER FLAME - FADED DARK CHERRY
Complete with case, candy and MAGIC!

2010 Gibson Les Paul Historic 1959 Reissue VOS Faded Tobacco

CURLY TIGER FIGURED MAPLE TOP WITH TONS OF FLECKING AND WIDE FLAME - LIGHT 8 lbs 9.5 oz
100% MINT UNPLAYED - Complete with case, candy and MAGIC!

Personally, if I had the money right now, I would buy either of the last two (R9). I just dig those kind of tops!

It's been years, but I had a very good trade deal with Jim and Janine on a dream guitar of mine. I was able to acquire a 2005 Jimmy Page Custom Authentic Les Paul.

I would highly recommend a deal with them!

Jim and Janine, I just wanted to say THANKS for the great service I got on the 2012 R9 Lemonburst Yamano I purchased from you. This is the first guitar I have bought online, but after talking to you two, and reading the reviews here I went for i! I am SO glad I did, as she is an amazing guitar!

Thanks again, and I will absolutely do business with you all again!
