Re: $100million dollar wah?

Not a chance.

Nobody is going to pay $100 million dollars for an effect pedal.

Not even if were a one-of-a-kind, home-built pedal by Jimi himself.

Not even if it were the principle pedal on all his recordings, irrefutable.

Not even if it came with his Marshall stack and curly cord, and CBS strat.

Nope. Not $100 million.

One million? -Sure. There are plenty of high-dollar collectors.

Two million? -perhaps.

Three million? -Maybe if a few high-rolling collectors fought over it at an auction.

But that's about it.

Re: $100million dollar wah?

I'm with Dave. I will be surprised if it tops $1 million. If it was one of his Strats that he played and was photographed using? More, but most people haven't the foggiest idea what a Wah pedal is. While a collector would love to tell people "This was used by Jimi at Woodstock!" He'll get tired of explaining what it actually is.

Maybe Steven Segal will pick it up...

That's ridiculous. I wouldn't go a dime over $75 million even if they tossed in Earnhardt's new wife.

$100 million?

His WOODSTOCK guitar went for 2 million, that guitar is a little more important.

well I see in the article that they're hoping it goes for up to 100 Thousand at auction...only place I see "100 Million" is in the misprinted title....

Re: $100 million dollar wah?

It said it was estimated to be worth $100,000.. Not $100 million.

they changed it. they had a video of what was broadcast on the news but they took it down. in that video they also said it was worth $100million. you can still see by the link that it originally said million not thousand. also if you look at the top of the article you can also see it was edited.

Re: $100 million dollar wah?

Does that mean my old TS-9 Tube Screamer that I got in 1977 played by me and maybe a couple of my guitar buddies is worth at least $10,000? WOW!

Guess I should sell it so I can get me an Allen Collins Explorer!
