Post Your Historic Bourbon Bursts!

Did a search and didn't find anything in "Historics".

With apologies if I missed it, but post your BBs if you're so inclined:

They look stunning and one of my favorite!
If I didn't get a Perry '59, I would get a 2013 R9 Bourbon!

OK Here is my 12' Allman Burst Figured R8 from Dave's

Its a little browner than some of those beautiful Merlot reds is this thread, but I think it counts.

Here is a spread I recently shot in the sunlight.

Enjoy

Re: Post Your Historic Bourbon Bursts!

Just ordered my Bourbon Burst this evening, got an email from Gibson with this week's batch, and found one that I had to have.

Should be arriving by the middle of the next week. Can't wait!

No problem Frac. There's no better Burst color out there IMHO. Just look at the ones posted here. I'd take at least one of each in a second!

Oh man there's that case of GAS again!

I've always loved bourbon/dark/brock/dapra bursts.

Since I saw Duane's as a teenager and saw a particularly nice example in the beauty of the burst book. Just beautiful thanks fir posting everyone!

^^ indeed,
If I were to buy another historic (which looks like it'll be anytime soon after this thread)
It'd be a bourbon burst again.

Re: Post Your Historic Bourbon Bursts!

A couple years ago I was on the hunt for a lightweight R8 but I happened to stumbled across this Bourbon Burst that was not necessarily lightweight at 9 lbs, but it was such a beautiful guitar I couldn't pass it up. It was a great guitar, but I ended up finding my lightweight Lester (a 7.5 lb Chambered Tobacco Burst) so I sold this one last fall.
