For that price I wouldn't worry too much as those are only minor quibbles and you can always pick these items up at a later date. One other thing is that this guitar would have also originally come with gold speed knobs not reflector knobs but again, that is just a minor detail with a decently priced intrument. Just in case you are interested here are what the case and the tuners should look like:
The smaller case is the generation 1 and the larger the generation 2 Protector or "chainsaw" cases. Gibson made the switch to Gen 2 sometime in 1980 so your guitar could have come with either.

But as I have said, for that price these are minor issues. You may want to ask him for shots of the control cavity to see if the electronics have been fooled with. The pots would be mounted on a metal plate with a metal cover over them; when you open the cavity you should see only the cover and would have to remove it to see the controls. It is not uncommon for the cover to be lost over the years as people sometimes remove the cover and or the control mounting plate.
