Super quilt.

Here is a new one, almost done.

Mahogany body, quilt top, ivory binding finished off in super thin nitro.

Hardtail bridge with steel vintage fender style saddles.

Maple neck, super thin nitro as well. 50s feel. Gotoh tuners

Cts pots. Right now I have some TV Jones HB P90 pick ups in there, but that is not locked in stone at this point.

Here are some quick crap cell phone pics but at least it gives you the idea.

Pics will never do this top justice, the quilt dances and swims all over the place.

The finish is a cross between a root beer/ tangerine color.

I'm normally not a quilt fan, but that particular top is fantastic! Beautiful work!

I am one of those who does not understand the "Quilt prejudice". All figured maple is beautiful>

That being said, I am glad this guitar got past your Quilt prejudice. Thanks, man!

Beautiful Roman! Is that a personal collection guitar or is some lucky member going to be able to purchase it?

That is simply off-the-chain!
The shape of the body and the figure on the maple are symbiotic.
I agree - all figured maple is special!

Re: Super quilt.

Awesome job Roman.

While I am not normally a Quilt top person, this looks super IMHO.

Always great to see a Tele style guitar built with a different twist. This design would also be great with standard P90's.

Re: Super quilt.

The titty mug is kind of a COA. If the mug is not present, it didn't come from Roman's bench.
