My first go with Amplitube and Sound Cloud

After buying Rocksmith and finding out you can use the cable it comes with to plug into your pc I decided what the heck. I downloaded Amplitube 3, ASIO4all (thanks to WolfeMacLeod) and some generic drum track.

This is what I came up with:

It's a long way to California if you wanna Rock'n'Flow by broke_player on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

I have another I'm still working on with the same drum track I'll upload that one tomorrow.

Sounds good! Glad to see you got the Rocksmith cable working well.
Now drop a solo in there!

I dig the underlaying "bo-doo doowop" guitar part that becomes more apparent 2:40 mark. A little heard to hear earlier, because of the drums.

Some decent tone out of Amplitube, eh?

I just uploaded another one called the wanderer. I need to get some more drum tracks

Re: My first go with Amplitube and Sound Cloud

I wanted to try the same thing as it sounded really cool.

I got the Amp 3

Got the ASIO4ALL

Switched to it in the MIDI, but still can't hear me play through it.

I checked volume settings on guitar, amps and such. I can hear the amp buzz, just can't get my guitar to sound through it...

Did I miss something?

The set up looks awesome, and if I can get this to work, I'm sure I will be trying and buying all kinds of stuff at the custom shop.

Thanks in advance!

I redid the first one and added a couple of leads. Hope you guys like it.

Are you using the Rocksmith cable? Your computer/set up may be different from mine but on mine I set the input device to ASIO and the left and right channels to USB guitar device("USB guitar device" option comes up when I plug in the Rocksmith cable). Channel 1 on left and Channel 2 on right. Hope this helps.

It sure is. I been messing with it more than the Rocksmith game.

Nice work, the lead style (and tone) reminded me of The Georgia Satellites. I don't think they are around now (?) but they were very cool
