To avoid your dilemma/trilemma I bought the MM special - same specs apart from the fretboard material, but I dig the baked maple, and i positively love the yellow. Problem solved :)

I got the sunburst back in 2007 (I think it was) and have been a fan of the MM's ever since. I bought the MM special back in February too. Lovely guitars - and super light as you already mentioned :).

Looks good! I got the yellow special about a month back, and it also needed a bit of adjusting, but when that is done you'll have great guitar. I am very happy with mine :)
