Re: Marijuana linked to crime...

Actually, I would be willing to go out on a limb and guess that there's probably a very high correlation between alcohol use, and arrests for public intoxication. :hmm: :laugh2:

Re: NGD (for Joe B)

You're absolutely right, Brian. Offstage, Joe is just a regular guitar/gear geek like the rest of us...only more so. He loves talking about this stuff, checking out new gear, and very generous...

Mark I couldn't agree with you more about this guitar (and the rest of Joe's herd)...and Joe himself. I got to hang out with Joe and his guitar tech, Mike (an awesome guy) when Joe was in Boston 10...

Re: The Irony

Re: What Upgraded Tailpiece Are You Using For Your Les Paul?

I agree that the stock Historic tailpiece works just fine. That said, I should mention that I use Faber for all the guitars I build, so obviously, I think highly of them. And I agree, that Larry...

Re: Pointer washers a dollar each?!!

A buck each is actually not a bad price. The manufacturer, shipper and retailer all have to make a little profit, you know. That said, about the cheapest I've seen them is as low as $5.00 for 8 of...

Re: What's The Biggest Band You've Played a Show With?

We saw the Degeneres twins too, and thought they were quite good. They were performing on a cruise ship we were on back in 2010, I believe. Had I known they were buddies of yours,...

Re: What's The Biggest Band You've Played a Show With?

The only semi-big ones I can remember were NRBQ, who we played with several times (at their request), and The (Fabulous) Rhinestones. In fact here's a little newspaper ad from that 1977 Rhinestones...

Re: Pix Of Yourselves Back in the Day When You Rocked

Yes, they were Sunn...and they were definitely considered guitar speaker cabinets, rather than bass cabinets (it was my rig). I can't recall, now, but I don't think they were 4X15 cabinets. I think...
