Re: Back & looking for advice
Well it is not a good idea. You've got to protect your guitars from too much humidity. If you must move your gear down be sure to put them in hardshell cases and check them weekly. The first bad sign...

Re: A question about comparisons from a new guy.
I can't be much of a help since I haven't owned any of those guitars however I wanted to give you my 2 cents... You said you live in a place where there aren't any Gibsons so you can't try them. I...

Re: Model?
Also seems like it's a maple top on that faded Studio. Mostly before 2011-2012 they came with all-mahogany bodies.

Re: New Norlin - Finish Issue :-(
If you play it hard with the PG off you're gonna get that part beaten in in a little while. If it's a good guitar then it's a keeper That's a no-brainer!!

Re: Favorite case for your Lester?
I use exactly that epi hardshell case IndianScout. I've been using that for over 3 years (giggin) and it still holds my Gibby as tight as a virgin... also nobody tried to stole my 'epi' so far :)

Re: Top Wrapping opinions
Bear in mind that if you top wrap, the strings will start to make grooves where they lie on the stopbar. (Just sayin if you try to keep your git clean)

100% agreed. This was the first thing that caught my eye the space is huge between the stopbar and the bridge and the pots are off as well!
I'd stay away!!
