My '83 LP Custom has that all the way around the headstock and in places on the neck. In person, it sure looks like fracture in the finish from the wood expanding and contracting from changes in...

Pricing is funny.... When i was looking for my R9 a few months back "buyers" said 3500 to 4K was fair. "Sellers" said 4500 to 5K was fair.

For over 4k, it would have to be EXACTLY what I wanted...

As to 'why'? I've seen some GREAT looking R8's at much better prices than R0 and R9... and if I believe what I read here...

The 400 is yours IHMO. You did the work. The contract was for the LOCAL STORE to do the work of FINDING and DELIVERING the COA. They did not and they compensated you for the breach....
