Re: NGD! Fender Eric Clapton Blackie
Congrats! The Clapton Stratocaster is a fantastic guitar, the boost is also my favorite feature. Well, besides the neck ;-) That guitar totally spoiled me in terms of sound clarity. Black of course...

Congrats! That is a beautiful guitar and the El Dorado strap is fantastic as well. That combo reminds a bit of Noel Gallagher.

Re: Fender Custom Shop '57 Twin Amp
Hi Will,
I will try these settings! These remind me of the settings I use when playing with OD-pedals, reverb and delay.
Then it is: Vol normal 2/3, Vol bright 2.5/3.5, bass 7, treble 9.5,...

Re: Delay Pedal for U2 & Van Halen
I use a Boss DD-7, lately I played a few U2 songs and could get close to his sound. The Line6 Echo Park I had some years ago worked also very good for these songs. Mostly I use the clear digital...

Re: Fender Custom Shop '57 Twin Amp
Keefīs is even louder with its 80w output power, but you can get quite close to his sound with the 57.
The overdrive of this amp is wonderful but the cleans are also really nice (in both channels)....

Re: Fender Custom Shop '57 Twin Amp
I have one, and I can say it is really a great sounding amp with any guitar. However, to get some overdrive it has to be really loud. I use an attenuator in most cases and then boost the natural...
