Tested the pickup as suggested, it produce sound but not very loud even thoug I had my 5w Blackstar volume at 9 on the clean channel.

Tested a second pickup in the same manner and it sound loud...

Swapped the bridge tarback in my Explorer for a 500t back in 1998, it sounds great in the Explorer.

But today I decided to return it into to the guitar, and to my hughe disapointment it appears...

I currently have the Baja tele with the Broadcaster and Twisted tele pick ups. How do they compare/differ to the pick ups inte American Vintage 52 model?

Took some effort to change the electronics due to the new pots, jack and switch was slightly larger than the stock ones but I managed to sort it out and get it done. Soldered the new Lundgren pups...

Don't about the black, but I have a white V with ebonyboard, and I am very happy with it. Very well built, the neck has a slightly broad feel to it and it is quite slim. The stock pickups are good...

After changing the stock minipots to CTS 500k the guitar sounds really nice. It sounds as the pups are more lively, the hot rail has great bite to it, the duckbucker sounds more defined and more like...

The cover made absolutely no different the only way to solve the noise was a groundwire to the bridge. Since I did not want to put a drill to my LP I soldered a ground wire to the bridge tone pot and...

Just placed my order with Stew Mac, it might take a few weeks for the harness to reach Sweden. As for pups I am buying a set of Lundgren P90's a Swedish winder with outstanding reputation.

New volume pot, tone pots too?

Installed a new 500k volume pot (CTS) in my strat, made a nice sound improvement. Now I am thinking should I exchange the two 250k tone pots aswell?

Stock pots are the mini ones that came in my 96...

Hi I had no idea the metalcsn had such a big impact, did not bother putting back last year when i put in some new DiMarzios in my 78 std. Thus could explain why it is quite noisy? Will reattach that...
