Recording Problems w/ Adobe Audition.
Okay, So whats happening is, Im running an RCA to 3.5mm cable from our mixer to my laptops microphone input to record basic stuff at rehearsals with Adobe Audition, but whenever i record anything on my laptop now, I get a diluted, wave like sound. The sound deterioration is impossible to work with, and im wondering if its a latency issue, or a sound card problem, but to be honest, Im just not sure. Can anyone help me out here?

Re: Recording Problems w/ Adobe Audition.
Most likely soundcard. If you want any kind of reliable quality, even a cheap USB interface will perform much better than the built in sound card.
