Stunt Monkey Pedals - PC Recording Soundclips
Did a few clips today, looking for advice on getting the best recording I can.
Setup as follows: Amp/Cab: Vox Night Train 15W / NT-112 Cab Mic: Blue Yeti - 2 feet away from cab Software: Reaper 4 (no effects) I tried the mic at various distances with the different settings and found about two feet away right in front of the cab with mic gain set really low gave me less clipping/overload in Reaper. There's still some software clipping that I'd like to do away with. I also do a bit of commentary which is very low volume compared to the playing (you've been warned!!). Maybe I need to move everything up higher so I can talk directly into the mic.... lots of trial and error here, but any advice/criticisms/comments are very welcome!
