Whatever... You're just lucky to have that Hatian refugee voodoo guy locked up in the closet to wind your pickups!

Nothing wrong with being Cuban. Probably the best musicianship per square meter in the world can be found in Cuba.

Also, an "Ñ" is not an "N" with a squiggly bit on top. It is simply a completely different letter.

Seriously nice axes, and thanks for the feedback. BB, you liking the two-pair knob thing? Probably going to go the hot vtp route. Just when I think I have enough guitars, folks post pictures like these...

Had to sell my Nash Tele to do it, but worth it to me.

Hey B, do you have pictures of this before you had it aged? I'm usually not a fan of artificial aging but lately after seeing yours and a few others, I'm getting really bad gassss. I don't gig out anymore so it would take for ever for mine to look like that... Also was it a shock when you first got it back after it being all shiny?
The only problem is I'm not sure witch one to send out..I don't want them resprayed because I like the way they look..

Hummer..........................don't do it!

Buy another guitar (used) and have it refinished and aged. I too want an aged guitar real bad..................but don't screw with those beauties.

Just my 2 cents.

Yes, at home. I'll get a pic loaded this evening.

They could have reshot my top to look like the faded burst, but I kinda liked the way mine looked, as well. It's a hybrid Green/Moore burst.

No--no "shock" when I got it back...I was amazed how it felt like an old friend...much more comfortable to play then before I sent it.

I'm still finding little scrapes and dents...Roy did a good job on it, and I'm happy with it.

OWOW! Them are some nice ones! This is just me and it would be hard but if I were to age one I would do the 07 Chambered R8. That top would look cool aged! I have a guitar that DJ aged here at the shop and WOW! I keep offering the owner everything but my kidneys for it. I don't want to let it out of here! LOL! I like it!

Thanks, I was actually thinking about the darkburst, but you have a good point about the the other one. I don't see to many Iced tea bursts aged...
Do you have any pictures of the one you have in the shop to take a peek of?

05Hummer, here's a pic with my guitar when it was new:

I would agree; I wouldn't mess with the ones you currently own. I'd get a newer VOS that played great, or a used R9 and get it aged. I'm very happy with mine, however. It's your choice, after all.

I will soon. I am doing some videos stuff with it and some cool pictures for a project I have in the works. Details will be in the next few weeks.

I am outta here until Monday now. Heading to the Bay Area.

Re: Double white Habaņeros On The Way...

I'm back, I installed the Habaneros yesterday(I'm pissed at the post man, I closed the shop early yesterday and was gone for about 3 hours when I went back to drop off some paper work when I noticed a box on top of my mail box, its a damn good thing I went back or some one could have swiped them with out me ever knowing!! The thing of it is, Will has it right on top of the box, MUST HAVE SIGNATURE FOR DELIVERY.. OK enough of the rant...)
My hats off to Will, these pickups not only look great but thew sound is just nuts... I'm not very good at describing tone so bear with me... They have a nice twang to them(if that makes sense) and the note definition is great.. No mud what so ever, even in the middle position the pickups are great.. they clean up really well and the neck has that great milky smooth sound... In the bridge position, well lets just say, WOW, that great southern rock sound to a tee. If you want Skynyrd this is the ticket.. Im more than happy with these pickups and im sure ill be doing more buisness with Will in the future....

Man, I glad you got them. Sometimes I hate the USPS. They just left them there with no signature?

I am glad that they are rocking ya!
