WB Reverends on blues song I recorded

My WB pickups, what can i say, they just recently came alive!
The thing that did it? the right amp and speaker combo

I recently made an upgrade to my Marshall cab
by buying Celestion Heritiage G12H Greenbacks
and using my Vintage Modern Marshall.

Thumbs up again to you Will! and i found
that amp combo to bring your WB Reverends to Life
they like the more Vintage sounding amps
and vintage speakers.

Clicky Linky for song

Re: WB Reverends on blues song I recorded

Sounds great Cold!!!!

Can you give me some of your favorite VM settings? My buddy has a VM and I would like to try the setting you're using on your blues jam.

My 900 blew a tube I can't wait to have my amp back. It really came at a bad time. I'm gonna give Eurotubes a call Monday for a set of JJs.

Nice playing...love the tone. That VM just drips with classic Marshall tone, huh?

I need one of those, too.

Re: WB Reverends on blues song I recorded

Bravo!! ....great stuff!!

Take Page, Slash, and Gilmour and mix them all up, and you have the Cliffster!

Great tone, but it was the playing that made it so wonderful to listen to.

Re: WB Reverends on blues song I recorded

Thanks guys!! Yea the tone from the VM
and greenback G12H's are tasty! I havent
loved an amp like i do this one since the 70's.
Yea, a little Page in there, a little Gilmore even
a little Hendrix just slop them together and jam it out.

The VM settings were
Master volume 3
Presence 5
Bass 8
Middle 6
Treble 4
Dynamic Boost Off
Mid Boost Off
Detail 8
Body 6

i uploaded the song to Soundclick.com
on thursday, and in a couple days it was up to #2
on the guitar rock charts, kind of triped me out.

ColdSteal, I can't say too much but after the call that Will got today. Those Reverend pickups may be a bit of cool history. Your clips sound great!
