EMG Select Humbuckers?
What are your thoghts? I put one in the bridge of my LP copy, and am considering replaceing it. What do ou think of them?

EMG have their place. there are days I like them, and days I don't.
Its up to you, but I'm willing to bet you prefer the sound of the passives.

Yeah, the Select series are passive pickups for the low-end market. I made that mistake in the 80's when I was first exposed to EMG's.

I don't think the EMG Selects are even built in the same factory as their real pickups. If I'm not mistaken, they were just "designed by" EMG and are made in some cheap factory in China. Kind of like how Gibson designs Epiphones.
