Magnetize a Magnet...help

Please can somone tell me how I can re magnetize a magnet? Being a idiot I brought some some A2s without reading the spec and found out they are non magnetized!

I tried rubbing a magnet over the A2 and it did start to work but I can't do that for each magnet.. is there away of me getting this sorted out?

Any advice would be great

Cheers

Stow

Re: Magnetize a Magnet...help

A machine magnetizer is the easiest I would think, and would give you total control over the gauss levels...but not cheap!

What if you took two rare earth magnets or strong magnets and set them apart from each other so they still attract each other and pass the pickup magnets between them without touching. I would think that would give them a full charge.

I'm sure a winder will chime in with proper instructions!

Re: Magnetize a Magnet...help

My mate has charged my magnets now.. I sat them on a Machine for a few hours.. some are strong.. some are VERY strong and some are just about right..

Now I got to try them in my pickups and see how they work
