I need one more pickup

Alright, so a while back I made a Partocaster, that was pretty badass. I'm getting a new body for it soon. Anyways, it's a white MIM body with a MIM neck with a rosewood board. Tort pickguard with two pickups; a Fender Alnico V in the neck and a Fender Alnico III in the bridge. It's wired like a Telecaster. A picture can be seen below.

Anyways, I'm gonna get an unfinished body and sell the white one, then Tru-oil the body. I am going to use the same neck and keep the two pickups I have. I want to get another Tort pickguard. So basically, I need a single coil pickup to go in the mid position. What would you guys recommend? The Alnico V in the neck is very bassy and full sounding, and quite loud, while the Alnico III in the bridge has a very rounded tone that isn't very shrill and handles distortion very well.

What would be a good pickup to go in the middle position? I was thinking a CS 69 or possibly a Texas Special. What would you guys think? I am open to any single coil out there.

EDIT: Forgot the pick. The said guitar is the white one.

Re: I need one more pickup

Of all the demos i´ve seen the Dimarzio Area 67 sounds awesome as a middle pickup.
I had a Fender Tex Mex in the bridge before and it was hot.
They are my suggestions

Thanks for the recommendations. I will take it into consideration. Have you ever used a Tex Mex in the middle position?

I really want this guitar to have an oddball pickup configuration just to see how it sounds.

Only in the bridge position but it was a as-kickin´ rock pickup in the bridge
