Mixing pickups...

I have a custom wound/built guitarforce neck pickup. Double black screw coil. I have it paired with a Dave Stephens VL PAF bridge. Both are unpotted. Although both are meant to be PAF inspired pickups they sound VERY different.

Compare:

Magnet:
Guitarforce: AIV
Stephens: AV

DC res:
Guitarforce: 7.65k
Stephens: 8.35k

Covers:
Guitarforce: no covers
Stephens: TV Jones relic

Polarity:
Guitarforce: regular
Stephens: regular

Sound:
Guitarforce: dense bass, creamy, smooth, clear top end
Stephens: bright, chirpy, acoustic, percussive, bold

They are very. very different. When you play the neck you got an Allman bothers creamy type of sound, flick it to the bridge and it's Fleetwood Mac unpredictable honk.

It's a weird combo that works great as having 3 completely different sounds from a guitar.

What do you think??
