The PAF Daddy's are great! The bridge really nails Kossoff's tone......the top end bite is sweet and addictive!
Enjoy!

Re: Shed Pickups [merged]

I just want to add......I have been using Spence's pickups for about 4 years now.
I have a set in a Tele, Strat, Junior and a Tokai LS320, and they are all great pickups......he's up there with the best.

I had a LP Junior made by Dave Dearnaley in Wales and he recommended he fit a Shed P90....I wasa bit reluctant as I was going to fit a Lollar but I went along with it. After all, it's not the end of the world to change the pickup.
I was and still am blown away with that pickup!
It has no nasal edge....it is fat, clear and rings like a piano when you pluck a chord with your fingers and when you add dirt and whack it .....stand back!

I only met Spence recently and I can tell you he is a very nice, quiet and decent guy...he has no ego.......just a desire and thirst to make some great pickups.
Every set I have bought has stayed in the guitar they were put in.....that says a lot.

Dave Dearnaley Junior with Shed P90.

That guitar looks stunning! Beautiful top! When it's painted the flame will look fabulous! Nice work!

I'm sure you will love the Paf Daddys as they are a great pickup.

Making progress. I have the majority done. Only the decal remains.
Here's the etching mask prototype ...

Ignore the laser burn marks; they have no effect on the etched finish.
