Re: Try them before you buy them SKATTERBRANE

No delay, no effects. Just a guitar, an amp and a cable.

Re: Try them before you buy them SKATTERBRANE

It sure sounds like some kind of delay.....Are we talking about the Sactterbrain blues clip? Or maybe just room ambience......Either way, nice playing and tone! You all are gunna flip when I get around to posting some!

Sorry, I thought you meant the clips in the Sound Reference.
Skatterbrane Blues has delay. I use a Memory Man Analog Delay.

Skatterbrane R-K I-Q

I just put a set of Skatterbranes R-K I-Q Pickups from Kink in my 2000 1959 Custom RI.They are smokin!!I thought the A2's(another great Skatterbrane product) I put in my 58 were Bad, but these babies are ROCKIN!!Smooth as melted butter.Sustain forever!!Even with HiGain, you can hear each string.Don't waste money on mass produced pickups.Support our LP brothers who hand wind each set!! Skatterbrane A2s + Marshall Amp clips

I have got a set of A2s that I won here on the forum, here are some clips with the A2s in my R9 the day before I sold it to Stumble, I took the pups out and put them into my new R9. The last clip is my attempt at trying to shred so its sloppy but the sustain at the start is

Skatterbrane pickups??

Not trying to re- hash all the R0 business, but I was curious if the opinions of his pickups had changed since all that went down? Seemed like they were very well liked here not too long ago, and I dig all the sound/ video clips.

While I don't support what he did, I do have a chance to by a new set from a private party at a decent price. Yay or nay?

Re: Skatterbrane pickups??

Uh... nay, of course. But, if you did buy them and don't like them, he would probably buy them back from you.

Re: Skatterbrane pickups??

Seriously why punish the "private party" if it allows you a chance to own a probably great set of pickups? I do not think it will add much to global warming or anything. And I am sure no animals were tortured in the process of making the pickups.

Re: Skatterbrane pickups??

How much?

If they were cheap enough I'd try them. But they would have to be cheap. There are plenty of used pickups out there from reputable winders for good prices.
