If you'll hold your horses for a while, I'm going to be doing just that. I will also demonstrate higher gain, but there will be no effects. Maybe a tiny bit of reverb from the amp.

speaking of various pickup clones.

Please do not take this the wrong way, but I wonder if I could improve my sales by offering a "WB" clone?

If you could take orders and actually get them to the customers in a timely manner you'd be head & shoulders above the original.

I don't know exactly how it was done... but a certain somebody DID do a damn fine job of marketing his products... and had about 90% of the pickup limelight here on MLP.

Re: speaking of various pickup clones.

By building the best pickup we possibly could and being extremely lucky with them. Marketing was easy when the pups spoke for themselves.

Re: speaking of various pickup clones.

People have tried but with all you winders it never works. Why because of technique. Do I know what he does or how he does it sort of. Am I a winder no. assembler help with the qc and install and test them. Will I ever wind not as long as WB is around. Why? Cause that would be wrong and people would say I stole my ideas from him. So yes I have wound a couple for myself and use 1 but it is a bit to sterile for him. Never will I disrespect the WB.

Re: speaking of various pickup clones.

Well for the first 6 months it was the Standard nickel set, but the Raw set is taking over. 95% of my customers love them, so they DO speak for themselves. But whenever someone tries to speak for me, they either get ignored or run off the forum! My marketing technique is not very effective I must say. I would say that most of my customers are not from the forums, and my review on Premier Guitar, my ads there and my sponsership here has not yielded a single sale. Most people buy because they stumble on them in a google search or they see them on Youtube. And Ebay is not very effective either.

Well, captcoolaid, winders like Timbucker, Sheptone, Wolfetone, Lollar, Tom Holmes, Bareknuckle, Over the Pond, Lindy Fralin, WCR, Throback, SD, and many other sure work. I am not sure what you mean?

Here I will say it. I love your neck pups some of my fave clips. But I like my bridge to be hotttttttt and I have yet to hear one as good as my UV20. If you make one I will praise it in an open forum. We all need to stay together.

Not clear on the last ? oh ok. No I meant trying to clone each others stuff. everyone has there own tension, pattern, wax time and materials. so cloneing is difficult at best. Look at all the attempts at the original pafs.
