Thanks one and all. I am very happy, I hope it does the trick. From this point it will be slowly evolving.

I went with the 5 element in China's tradition Earth, Wood, Metal, Fire, and Water, plus Yin and Yang. Do not take "metal" literally, as in heavy metal.

I have to say this was a really good project to work with Rod on. I really think the new web site reflects his personality and his pickups much better.

I am really glad that everyone likes it!

*yeah, first post (for me)*

Re: speaking of various pickup clones.

I hadn't noticed that one. No, gold isn't any more conductive than copper, it's less conductive. 10000 turns of 42 gauge gold would give you a dc resistance in the region of 13.2 k ohms.

Silver is more conductive than copper, and would get you down to below 7.6 k ohms for the same number of turns in the same gauge.

Liam

(and the site looks great!!)

Thanks! I guess they goldplate terminals because it does not corrode. Yes, silver would be appropriate for the idea I wanted to get across. Thanks again.

Re: speaking of various pickup clones.

I havn't been following this thread lately so I'm probally a little late on this! Just wanted to say the new site looks fantastic! Very professional and easy to navigate. It shows off your pickups and really captures the image you are after. Definitely a worthwhile improvement/investment for your business! Congrats on it!

I might put them in there! That guitar, I'm pretty sure, has never been plugged into an amp unless you did it. The one time I went to get it to fool with it - that's when I found the headstock broken!
