Anyone have a name suggestions for those Pickups ? with a Hillbilly Theme as the guitar is known as the infamous "Hillbillyburst"

WOW. Grdeat tone, and once you're in the groove, you go for it

I keep hearing Will's Pickups and my jaw drops every time.

Too many great choice though. I wish we could just push a button and change pickups out like in some rotating conveyor belt. But then we would not have a Lester would we?

Re: Proto WB Pickups / Les Paul

Yup, same pickups and same amp. The only difference is less preamp gain on the amp, for better roll-down cleans on the guitar's volume knobs. Studio soundclips are coming as soon as I can borrow my buddy's SD card reader. Stay tuned.

Re: Proto WB Pickups / Les Paul

I have got a couple of emails regarding the "Proto's". I talked to Will and he told me that they won't be available for at least a month or more if that.

But he did make 5 "Proto Sets" to make sure they are consistant. He said he will let go of 2 of them. The one in the guitar that John's playing are staying put but proto sets 2 & 3 are available, he's keeping 2 for himself.

Will told me that someone here asked about them last night. Let me know if you are still interested here info@wbpickups.com

Set 2 are Double Aged White bobbins with Nickel Covers
Set 3 are Zebra's with Nickel Covers.

Standard Braided 2 wire.

READY TO SHIP. No Lead Time Wait! First Come, First Gets! SOLD! shipped. So if you snatch them up today. They will ship in the morning.

Since these are "Protos" we can't divulged to much about them yet, but by the clips and vids you can kind a tell what they are good for.

For more information.... WB Custom Pickups: guitar pickups wound by hand

In honor of TheMrsWB's avatar, I think "Crappers" is a good name candidate.

I can see the slogan now..."These pickups will make you crap."

Great idea for a slogan, Big John!

"WB Pickups....... tone so good you'll soil yourself"!!!

You can totally get the "brown sound"!!!
