wb is a class act

Hello all,I am a newbee only on posting,I have been reading these, & other
Lp forums for some time.I'm posting this in regards to our friend Will Boggs.I have purchased a set of hot 67/07s & I am just loving them. Will had supplier
issues & for that fact has given me 25% discount on any pickups & or work done as per his letter he sent with the pickups. This was not nessecary due to the fact Iam up here in Vancouver Canada & I was expecting some sort of delay, but this just shows Will's class & total work ethic. If there are people out there questioning changing pickups, do give Will's pickups some serious thought. These are not from someone who just got lucky with a couple of pickups he knows his shit (oh, can you say that?).Thanks again Will, for your passion to tone, your helping alot of people reach there goals, & you & your pickups are very inspirational.

Warren (guitarschopp) Rock on!

Re: wb is a class act

Warren on the behalf of Will. Thank you. It can be a aggravating sometimes when you order parts like the cover problem we had with your order. Will only wants the best for our customers and when the supplier sends you what you did not order. It really messes with the day to day and customer service. It wasn't your fault. So we feel that it is only right to let you know that we appreciate your patience while we get it right with our supplier.

Steve. . . really interesting tone!

What changed at 1:31 and then 1:41?

The change at 1:41 was especially gratifying to hear. . . loved that growl! Did you just move down to a lower string?

Re: WB 67-07 VTP Soundclip

I was just listening to "After the Party" again. The growl I hear from 1:06 to 1:12 (neck pickup?) is just incredible. . . whoa!! That to me is one of those special things that great pickups do in a great Les Paul.

Terry.

Re: WB Custom Pickups In Oct. Premier Guitar Magazine

Yes, I think that this is the first of many articles about the WB Pickups. Will & Laura have combined top level customer service and products and then back it up with never ending support.
In this day of policies, marketing gimmicks and hype, qualified, genuine people, products and companies like WB are a refreshing double shot of value and quality.
Thanks again, JLH

Talking My new WB Firewaters

Hiya all,
After being on the fence for some time I finally decided to kick my '95 Studio up a bit in tone. While I didn't mind the mellower tones of the stockers I shot Will at WB an email and he guided me to the Firewaters. So I've had them all weekend and couldn't find the time to throw 'em in. But, today was the day!! I got home from work, removed the strings, took out the old pup's and installed the WB Firewaters. Now I was hoping for a reasonable change. Holy C--p! I can't believe it. I just spent 4 straight hours on my NEW Studio Here's a pic while putting them in and a pic about an hour later. Didn't have time after that to take more pics. I was too busy

Here's a happy player! Thanks Will!!

I also top wrapped for the first time........ I didn't even take the time to put the back cover on or a "Screwless pickguard

Will thanks again. What a difference.

You want to know a secret? Single Coil Related!

67-07 Single Coils "Limited" are now available! After being road tested and and given the big thumbs up. I am now ready to offer the first 15 sets of 67-07's for sale before the announcement on the web site. These sets are wound traditional style on my vintage winder YouTube - Guitar Pickup Winder. They will come in 2 different output sets. Lo-Drive and Hot Rod. These calibrated sets features staggered beveled Alnico V magnets and the real tone of authentic vintage 60's wire.

Lo-Drive 6707's / Bridge 6.5K , Middle 6k , Neck 5.9. For classic chime, bells and feel with a little bit extra on the bridge for a more calibrated sound.

Hot Rod 6707's / Bridge 7.3K , Middle 6.3, Neck 6. For straight up blues and vintage rock style tones. These are calibrated to match with all settings

These can come straight vintage or with a middle reverse wound option for hum canceling in the #2 and #4 positions. You get a COA and a sample of the wire.

If you are interested in the 6707 Single Coils, email me at info@wbpickups.com

LOL! That is my partner Greg's Gibson V. Long story short, it was nicknamed "Big Foot's Dick" because it sounds so freakin' heavy. I didn't even see that when I posted the picture. If it offends anybody. Sorry but's it's the truth. That guitar sounds as heavy as, well you get it...LOL
