Stephane, I can make you some pickups that can have diamonds inlayed in the bobbins and kill 2 birds with one stone.

Re: Will Boggs Custom Pickups are Truly Custom

Damn straight, Skippy.

LOVE the Gregwinds, and a bunch of customers passed around the guitar like a college cheerleader, all remarking at how clean and defined the pickups were, even under stupid gain.

Give Laura a hug for me, I thought she was gonna cry there, for a second!

Re: Will Boggs Custom Pickups are Truly Custom

I was freaked out Greg! I think I may have to take you up on the hug. Will called me and told me that you got him good too. That he was speechless the whole time you were talking to him. He said he owes me for not tipping him off.... LOL! You had me really going that you hated those pickups and us. I was thinking, Oh no... Will really worked hard on those winds and Greg hates them. LOL! Let us know at the end of the week about the other ones. Should be Thursday for you....

Great stuff, refin.

I need to smack my drummer upside his head so that I can finish up some more clips for you, Will. I've been having a great time with that guitar and my Bassman since the Hots were mounted back up. I think they may have passed up the Vintage's...really diggin' 'em, mang.

Thank you for the kind words,Big John.I haven't tried my Bassman yet,but that is soon!
I have been playing these pups for two days now through a small Fender amp,and I am amazed at the tonality.I am telling all my students and everyone who is serious about tone about these pups!

Man, those clips are nice. They really showcase how articulate Wills pups are. These 67-07s can go from refined to uncivilized by just diggin in. Will's the man!

Re: WB 67-07 VTP Soundclip

Gosh guys---you are being too nice. Thanks for the ears!
It took me a little while to adjust my ears to the sonic tapestry of these 67-07s.I had some wonderful PAF winds in my conversion before that I am very fond of,and I knew that it would take an absolute monster sound to dethrone them---way to go Will! These are the winds I've been dreaming of.
Morawk nailed it; refined to uncivilized! I remember the days ('70s/'80s) when if you wanted rude, you sacrificed sweet. Now I can live in both worlds!
