T-Tops ('80) vs. 490r/498t

Quick question....

I ordered a Dot knockoff from Agile. I'm going to replace the pickups.

I have 2 sets of pups on standby....T-Tops that came out of my Gibson Les Paul Custom or a set of 490r/498t pups out of a Les Paul Studio model.

Which ones would you put into the archtop?

The 490/489 series are consistantly decent, whereas some T-tops are great and some are God-aweful.

They didn't sound too bad in my Custom....I just had a set of burstbuckers I wanted to put in there.

I also know that this isn't something I'm going to be keen on experimenting with too much since it is an archtop and access to the electronics is going to be a bit more difficult.
