PAF Shootout in The ToneQuest Report!!
I asked for and received permission from the magazine to post the articles. The PAF Shootout was a 2-issue series, and ToneQuest required we show both issues so viewers can get the entire picture. First, the email from ToneQuest:
"BB - Thanks very much for writing. We would of course appreciate the exposure among your members, however, I believe it would be most beneficial to them and to Will if they were given the entire story and a more complete perspective on a project that began in December 2008. The January 09 issue you referenced with Will's interview is actually Part 2 of a discussion of PAF pickups that began with the April 2008 issue. Both are attached as PDF files. If you would be willing to post both issues, unedited as they were originally published, we would be happy to grant such permission. All we ask is that a link be included to our web site at The ToneQuest Report. I would also appreciate receiving a link to the post. All the best, David David Wilson Publisher The ToneQuest Report P.O. And here are the links to the two issues: The ToneQuest Report April '08 The ToneQuest Report January '09 Enjoy, MLPers...this is a Premier Magazine, and you don't often get this opportunity. Visit the website, and consider a subscription if you are really SERIOUS about tone. ![]() Cheers! BB PS--Many thanks to Raymond (Texas07R8) for hosting the PDF files and making this post possible!!!!

Re: PAF Shootout in The ToneQuest Report!!
To save these great issues to TQR as a resource for those in the forum, I've deleted all of the extraneous stuff and left the OP.
