I assure you ... They are identical in every way to real PAF's especially the details like the screws !!! Maybe your just not used to seeing them with the covers off , It does give the screws a different appearance !!!

Here are REAL PAF's for comparison ... The screws look the same to me

Re: "Over The Pond Guy" PAFs

Have you got the heating on? The pair I tried came out a tad lower, but I'm too tight to have the central heating on very high, so they would do.

(The temperature does make a difference, as was recently pointed out to me.)

Fingers crossed, might have a follow-up review from the initial one this week. Hope you're all waiting with bated breath because I'm just about turning blue with anticipation (and cold from lack of heating) on this side of the pond.

Well just like real PAF's ... OTPG has alot of different output readings for his PAF's , But his usual set is 7.5k & 7.9k ... He did a HOT set for me reading 8.5k and 8.9k ... I would assume they read a bit lower on the other side of the pond !!!

That's a thought, do meteorological conditions make pickups sound better when played in the U.K or U.S.

Well .. Just because I was curious I tested the latest batch of OTP pups a few times to see if the readings would change from when i first recieved them and they were cold from shipping and later on when they got to room temperature , and the readings went up about .2 or .3k ...

Pretty impressive. I'm going to guess second screw from the right is OTP.

Got a picture of the screw heads from the slot end?

Here is another angle so people can see the screw heads better !!! For the sake of keeping things organized ... The first pic will be referred to as OTP1 and this pic will be OTP2 ...

OTP2

Re: "Over The Pond Guy" PAFs

Looks like that has turned the order of the screws back to front. Now all I've got to decide is if that changes my guess. Think I'll stick with second from the left in OTP2 (which was second from the right in OTP1). If I'm right, you'll love the reasoning behind it....
