magnet reversal on classic

Greetings all, i have a 2004 Les paul classic, it has 3 magnets in the bridge pickup, anyone know if its possible to do the magnet thing (PA Green)? Also these magnets have white dots on them, anyone know what this is for?The neck pickup has a strip of wood along the edge of the pickup instead of a magnet, ???, thanks for any help on this.

Flip the neck pickup mag. It will sound a little thinner than a pickup made to do the PG mod but it will be out of phase.

Your bridge pickup with the 3 mags is a 500T. you really want to try something? Pull out the 2 small ceramic mags and leave the middle one alone. Some have liked that tone as well. Just for shit and giggles, try it. Have fun with it.

I've been thinking about doing that. I'm gonna have to try it. I actually like the 500T, it makes a great slide pickup, especially split.
